Investor pitch, pre seed round

India buys fashion blind.
We make it certain.

India's $11B online fashion market still sells clothes nobody tried on. Bibanchal shows shoppers the outfit on their own photo before checkout, with Look packs and affiliate margin already live. Bootstrapped on $0, raising up to $500k.

The name came from the two women who inspire me every day.

Two names that mean the world to me. Bibha, my mother. And Anchal, the woman I love. I brought them together so the product would carry something personal.

The name also carries a little piece of Mithilanchal, the place and culture connected to my roots.

The problem

One in four fashion orders comes back.

Shoppers see a model, guess the fit, and pay. When the outfit arrives looking nothing like they imagined, it goes back. The retailer loses margin and the shopper loses trust.

~26%

of fashion orders came back in India operator data for 2025.

Two ways we earn. Both are live.

Shoppers pay up front for the certainty of seeing it on themselves. Stores pay us when that certainty turns into an order.

01

Look packs

Live

Shoppers prepay for try on credits in rupees at about ₹25 per Look. That covers generation cost, payment fees, and margin. A failed Look refunds its credit automatically.

Diligence

The risks, and the questions you will ask.

Every risk comes with how we handle it. Every number on this page links to its source.

  • Look quality and cost

Every Look has to look right and still fit inside about ₹25 a Look.

    How we handle it

Short garment only prompts, fixed framing, and automatic refunds keep quality honest and cost predictable.

  • Affiliate rules change

Networks can change payout tables and category rules.

    How we handle it

Look packs earn on their own. Cashback always settles on the confirmed payout, never on an estimate.

  • One founder

Speed is high, but so is concentration risk.

    How we handle it

This round goes first to try on quality and distribution, the two areas that need more hands.

  • Store policies

Retailer terms and browser store rules shape what we can build.

    How we handle it

Link based try on, a store allowlist, and a Chrome extension that passed Web Store review.

How much have you raised?

Zero. Bibanchal is bootstrapped and has raised $0. This is the first round, up to $500k.

What is the valuation?

Every check prices at the same $5M post money reference. $25k buys 0.5%, $100k buys 2%, and $500k buys 10%. Final terms follow diligence and the agreed instrument.

How does Bibanchal make money?

Two live streams. Shoppers prepay for Look packs at about ₹25 per Look. We also earn affiliate commission on tracked orders, about 2.1% to 7% depending on store and category, and share 50% of it with the shopper as wallet cashback.

Who is the customer?

Women in India who shop fashion online and want to see the outfit on themselves before paying. Gifting for family is a strong second occasion.

Why won't a marketplace or cashback app copy this?

Marketplaces build try on for their own catalog. Cashback apps compete on coupons. Bibanchal works across stores from one photo and pays the shopper back, a position neither side is set up to take.

What traction can you show?

A live product: web app, Chrome extension, Razorpay payments, and cashback on Myntra, Shopsy, and AJIO, with an Android app in testing. Usage, conversion, and retention numbers are shared in diligence rather than posted publicly.

How will you use the money?

35% on try on quality, 30% on growth and distribution, 20% on store and cashback ops, 15% on runway and legal. The split flexes with the final round size.

What is the biggest risk?

Holding Look quality and cost steady while affiliate rules shift, with one founder carrying the build. The round is aimed straight at those risks.

Which instrument will you use?

Priced equity, a SAFE, or another standard instrument, agreed during diligence. The $5M post money reference holds across check sizes.
