Privacy Policy

Bibanchal (“we”, “us”) is an AI fashion shopping assistant for people in India. We help you try outfits on your photo, shop complete looks, and earn eligible cashback when you buy through our links.

For the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we act as the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through bibanchal.com and related apps. You are the Data Principal.

Account data: name, email address, and authentication details when you create or sign in to an account.

Photos you upload: full body or portrait images you choose for virtual try on. These images are used to generate Looks on you.

Usage data: pages viewed, features used, device type, approximate location from IP, and diagnostic logs needed to keep the product working.

Purchase data: Look pack purchases, payment status from our payment partner, and cashback related activity tied to affiliate clicks.

Support messages: anything you send us by email when you ask for help.

To create and secure your account, and to greet you by name in the app.

To run AI try on: we send your photo and garment images to our generation provider so you can see yourself in a look.

To sell Look packs, confirm payments, and show your balance.

To attribute eligible shop visits and calculate cashback when you buy through partner links.

To send transactional email such as verification, receipts, and account notices.

To improve reliability, prevent abuse, and understand which features help you.

We process this data with your consent when you sign up, upload a photo, or buy a pack, and where the law allows processing for providing the service you requested.

We use trusted processors who handle data only for the purposes we assign: authentication and database hosting, AI try on generation, payment processing (for example Razorpay), affiliate tracking partners, email delivery, and product analytics.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your try on photos for public marketing without your clear permission.

We may disclose data if required by Indian law, a court order, or to protect users and the service from fraud or security threats.

Your photos are central to Bibanchal. We store them so you can reuse them for new Looks, and we share them with our AI provider only to generate your try on results.

Please upload photos you have the right to use. Do not upload photos of children. Bibanchal is meant for adults.

You can ask us to delete your uploaded photos and generated Looks. Deletion from our live systems happens after we verify your request. Backup copies may take longer to clear.

We use essential cookies and local storage for sign in sessions and security.

If we enable analytics, we use them to understand product usage in aggregate. You can ask us how to limit non essential tracking by emailing us.

Account data stays while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure if needed for disputes, tax, or legal retention.

Payment and cashback records may be kept longer where payment and tax laws require it.

When the purpose ends, or you ask for erasure and no legal duty requires keeping the data, we delete or anonymise it.

You may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, and erasure where the law allows.

You may withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent. Withdrawal does not undo processing already completed lawfully, and some features will stop working without the data they need.

You may nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity, as provided under the Act.

If you are not satisfied, you may complain to India’s Data Protection Board once the Board’s complaint channels are available for your case.

We use industry standard safeguards such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and limited staff access to personal data.

No online service is perfectly secure. Please use a strong password and keep your login private.

Bibanchal is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly create accounts for minors. If you believe a minor’s data is on our service, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change, and material updates may be flagged in the product or by email.
